Luc and I went to Idyllwild for an early Christmas celebration. There is something special about those woods. I played the Twin Peaks soundtrack every time we got in the car, and it added a nice eerie, or another word, kitschy-cheesey, element to the experience. Agent Cooper quotes a plenty.
Cooper: Sheriff, what kind of fantastic trees have you got around here? Big, majestic--
Truman: Douglas firs.

I have not posted in months. Thank you to all the people that encouraged me to keep posting! Yes. My main internet-time-sucking focus has been obsessively pouring over wedding visions and travel spots. I will post my findings. I have a long overdue introduction to make, our newest family member. I rescued Margot from the North Central L.A. shelter, she was in there for a month, red-listed, separated from her kittens, and so so sad. AND CUTE! She was very Margot Tenenbaum, very sullen and beautiful. Now she is best friends with Chester and happy in her home.
Chester is happy.
